Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University, Tamil Nadu is also known as SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The University was founded by T.R. Pachamuthu in the year 1985 SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under the University of Madras. The University has four campus in Tamil Nadu state - Ramapuram, Kattankulathur, Tiruchirapalli and Vadapalani and a campus in Modinagar (Near Delhi). SRM University conducts Engineering Entrance Examination every year for admission in to various Engineering courses.
